Short description
The roller shear machine is used to determine the resistance to compression fatigue of flexible cellular polyurethane using a dynamic roller compression test. The roller shearer dynamically fatigues a test piece with a constant force that deflects the material both vertically and laterally. It was used for many years in the foam industry to determine percent thickness loss.
