Flex Cracking Tester for testing artificial leather according to DIN 53359.
According to the standard, this test is primarily used for artificial leather, but it can be applied to almost all thin, sheet-like structures.
During the test, two clamps, in which up to nine specimens can be clamped, move towards each other. The stroke of these tension clamps is adjustable via an eccentric. This movement causes the clamped specimens to buckle. An integrated counter with limit switch enables the number of bucklings per specimen to be specified.
