Penetrometer for determining the water resistance of flexible leathers under dynamic stress according to DIN EN ISO 5403, EN ISO 20344
The specimen is immersed in water during partial immersion. The time required for the water to penetrate the specimen must be measured. This method also permits determination of the percentage by mass of water absorbed and the amount of water that has penetrated the specimen (replacement for DIN 53338). An auxiliary device for determining the test amplitude is included in the scope of delivery.
