Short description
The Castor Chair Tester type 17203 is used to test the resistance of floor coverings, such as carpeting, laminate, etc., under the load of chair castors. In this test, a textile floor covering is subjected to the load of three rollers for a prescribed number of revolutions. These follow a specified eccentric track. After the test, depending on the method used, the general wear behavior or color changes of the floor covering can be assessed.
The wheelchair tester meets the requirements of:
- DIN EN 985 (Textile floor coverings - Chair castor test)

- ISO 4918 (Elastische, textile und laminierte Bodenbeläge - Stuhlrollenprüfung)
