Dennison waxes for determining the pick strength or surface strength of paper.
The Dennison wax sample is applicable to all grades of uncoated, coated, high gloss coated and art papers. It gives reliable information about paper properties and paper processing, such as:
- Surface thickness of the paper
(layer thickness of the stroke) - Assessment of resilience
against stress during printing - Determining the strength of the required
Lamination - Examination of lamination quality (how easy
the lamination can be removed, by-
pressed or punctured?) - Surface strength of papers
